First Annual Solano Cycle Scooter Rally

Charity Rally to Benefit the Betty Griffin House

Solano Cycle is sponsoring the First Annual Ancient City Scooter Rally. The Rally will include food, scavenger hunt, scooter vendors, giveaways, silent auction, and a scooter ride.

Date/Time: Saturday, November 3, 2007, from 10:30am-6pm. *Weather Permitting

Scavenger Hunt: Participants in the scooter rally will receive a list of riddles. They guess the riddle to find the local participating merchant. They will then visit that merchant and receive a ticket. The more riddles they solve, the more tickets they collect, the greater their chances of winning. There will be over 40 local, participating restaurants and businesses.

Food: Carrabba's Italian Grill will be catering this event free of charge.

Scooter Vendors: KYMCO and Hyosung will have booths setup to display their products and answer questions. Several other vendors will also be participating and will be announced on our website.

Silent Auction/Giveaways: Local merchants, KYMCO, Hyosung, and other vendors will be providing donations for giveaways and the silent auction. All companies who participate and donate will be advertised on our website and will be publicized at the event.

Scooter Ride: The conclusion of the event will be a scenic scooter ride down A1A with police escorts.

Charity Event: All proceeds to benefit the Betty Griffin House of St. Johns County. The Betty Griffin House provides emergency shelter to abused women and their minor children.

Cost: $25 for drivers, $15 for passengers. All participants receive a free t-shirt, food from Carrabba's and a day filled with fun.

Timeline:
10:30am - 12:30pm - Check-In, Receive Shirts, Instructions, and Eat
12:30pm - 3pm - Scavenger Hunt
3pm - 4pm - Silent Auction, Giveaways, Scavenger Hunt Winner Awards
4pm - 5pm - Scooter Ride
5pm - Until - End Scooter Ride and hang out at the Oasis Bar & Grill

Our scooter customers have been asking for this for 9 years, and we are happy to finally be able to put together this event for the thousands of scooters riders in the North Florida area.
