Second Annual Solano Cycle Scooter Rally

Charity Rally to Benefit the First Mammogram Hotline on the First Coast.

Solano Cycle and KYMCO are sponsoring the Second Annual Ancient City Scooter Rally. The Rally will include food, scavenger hunt, scooter vendors, giveaways, silent auction, Halloween party and a scooter ride.

Date/Time: October 25th, 2008, at 11am and October 26th, 2008, at 10am

Join the M-Line: Join the Money Line with Jeanie Blalock and the Channel 12 News. We will connect $1 dollar bills to see how long of a line we can make.

Scavenger Hunt: Participants in the scooter rally will receive a list of participating merchants. They must find the local participating merchant. They will then visit that merchant and receive a ticket. The more tickets they collect, the greater their chances of winning. There will be over 40 local, participating restaurants and businesses.

Food: Carrabba's Italian Grill and Chick-fil-A will be catering this event free of charge.

Car Wash: Hooters will be sponsoring a car wash, proceeds will go to a charity for breast cancer.

Costume Party: Halloween costume party Saturday night at the St. Augustine Beachfront Resort. Prizes will be handed out for best costume and best dressed scooter.

Scooter Vendors: KYMCO Genuine and other scooter companies will have booths setup to display their products and answer questions.

Silent Auction: Items will be displayed all day Saturday and closing at 6pm.

Scooter Ride: Sunday we will take a ride down US1 south to State Road 206 and back up A1A to the beach pier for more fun contests and food.

Charity Event: Jeanie Blalock and Channel 12 News will be there at 1:30pm on Saturday the 25th to represent the breast cancer foundation.

Cost: $25 for drivers, $15 for passengers that register before the event. Registration on the day of the event will be $30 for drivers, $20 for passengers. All participants receive a free t-shirt, food from Carrabba's and two days filled with fun.

12pm - Check In for pre-registered drivers, receive gift packet and shirt
1pm - Lunch from Carrabbas
1:30pm - Jeanie Blalock and Channel 12 News
2pm - 3pm - Games
3:30pm - 5:30pm - Scavenger Hunt
5:30pm - Dinner from Chick-fil-A
6pm - 8:30pm - Explore the city or socialize
9pm - Halloween party (bring your costume)

11am - Scooter ride
1pm - Food and games at the St. Augustine Pier
