- License: All drivers must have a valid driver's license. Learner's permits are not accepted.
- Deposit: Major credit/debit cards or $300 cash deposit. Credit/debit only for ScootCoupe rentals. A blank draft and a verification will be placed on your card during the time of rental. For ScootCoupes, the amount of the verification is $300. For all other rentals, the verification is $1.
- Age: All riders must be at least 18 years of age or accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at time of rental.
- Helmets are provided free of charge. Riders under age 16 must wear a helmet at all times.
- Eye protection is provided free of charge. State law requires that all riders wear eye protection at all times. Sunglasses or any other kind of glasses will also suffice.
- Most of downtown St. Augustine and Anastasia Island is within the boundaries.
- Riders may cross the Bridge of Lions to Anastasia Island and may go to the beach but not on the sand.
- No other bridges may be crossed except the Bridge of Lions.
- Riders may not take the bikes onto Highway US-1 (Ponce de Leon) or anywhere in which the speed limit is over 40mph, as the top speed on all rental vehicles is 30mph.
- Overnight rentals begin at 5pm each night and the bikes may be kept until 11am the next morning.
- If you wish to return the bike before we open at 10am, we will give you instructions on how to lock it up at the store.
