Scooter Rental Requirements
License: All drivers must have a valid driver's license. Learner's permits are not accepted.
Deposit: Major credit/debit cards or $300 cash deposit. Credit/debit only for ScootCoupe rentals. A blank draft and a verification will be placed on your card during the time of rental. For ScootCoupes, the amount of the verification is $100. For all other rentals, the verification is $1.
Age: All riders must be at least 18 years of age or accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at time of rental.
Helmets are provided free of charge. Riders under age 18 must wear a helmet at all times.
Eye protection is provided free of charge. State law requires that all riders wear eye protection at all times. Sunglasses or any other kind of glasses will also suffice.
Scooter Boundaries
Most of downtown St. Augustine and Anastasia Island is within the boundaries.
Riders may cross the Bridge of Lions to Anastasia Island and may go to the beach but not on the sand.
No other bridges may be crossed except the Bridge of Lions.
Riders may not take the bikes onto Highway US-1 (Ponce de Leon) or anywhere in which the speed limit is over 40mph, as the top speed on all rental vehicles is 30mph.
Overnight Rentals
Overnight rentals begin at 4:30pm each night and the bikes may be kept until 11am the next morning.
If you wish to return the bike before we open at 10am, we will give you instructions on how to lock it up at the store.
Free Parking is for most vehicles while renting. We reserve the right to limit, change or cancel this offer without notice.
